The function of management are as follows:
1.planning: planning is a basic managerial function without
which no other function of management
perform. It is concerned with the determination of goal to achieve and the
coarse and action to be followed to achieve them. Good planning is essential to
ensure proper utilization of human and non human resource to achieve the
predetermined goals.
2. organizing: organization has a measure role in
implementing plan successfully. Organizing may be defined as identifying and
grouping the activities to be performed, assigning them among individual
creating authority –responsibly relationship among them. It is the collection
and integration of various factor required to achieve the planned goal.
3. staffing: staffing is concerned with human resource. It
aims to fit individual and job in the organization structure by appointing
competent and qualified person for the job. and organization cannot be operated
without personal.
4. leading: once objective /goals. have been developed and
the organizational structure have been design and staff the next step is to
being to move towards the goal/objectives. Leading involves influencing member
of the organization to perform in ways that accomplish the organization
objective.
5. controlling: controlling is related to all management
function it is the process of measuring and comparing operating result with the
plans and taking corrective action when result deviate from plans. Hence there
is no control with out plans and plans without control mean no achievement.
